Failures - A
Pillar To Success
Without Adversity,
without change, life is boring.
The paradox of comfort is that we stop trying.
The heads and tails of a coin resemble a curious fact about our
lives. Success and failure are the heads and tails of life. Both
success and failure teach us something.
Failures are
but the pillars to success. To learn from our failures is to achieve
success. Never to have failed is never to have won. Unless we
experience failure and its bitterness, we would never appreciate the
sweetness of victory. Otherwise, it becomes merely a turn of events
that is of little or no interest.
Failures not only help us to succeed, they make us energetic,
enthusiastic, and rich in experiences.
As you sail
through life, don’t avoid storms & rough waters, just let it pass
and sail on!, because calm seas will never make skilled sailors. The
hardship and the failure make us more efficient and skilful.
Success is the
result of good judgment; good judgment is a result of experience.
Someone has very nicely said that intelligent person learns from his
experience, more intelligent person learns from the experience of
the other person. Always seek the guidance from the intelligent and
experienced person. So never see failure as a failure, but see it
only as a learning experience.
Consistently failing and learning from your failures will
help you be successful.
The
person interested in success has to learn to view failure as a
healthy, inevitable part of the process of getting to the top.
Keep on going, never give up. You can never be a winner if you quit.
Do not say battle is lost unless and until you lose it.
Just don't give up trying to do what you really want to do.
Remember that
we are fully responsible for our mistakes. We should not blame
anyone or anything for our failure. Unfortunately we have this
unhealthy tendency to blame someone or something. Make a point that
you don’t blame anyone or anything that you think is responsible for
your failure. You may think that the blame you put is correct. But
even if it seems so, it would be just an excuse. It will lead to
failure, not success.
Try to learn from every
failure. No one can go back &
make a new beginning, but anyone can start from now and make a happy
ending! Analyze your failure to point
out your mistake and see that you don’t repeat the same. Learn from
your failure, you will succeed. Many people ruin their day by
brooding over mistakes. They forget the many things they did that
went well, and concentrate on the things that went wrong.
Remember, those who keep on trying end
up winning.
Keep your mind open to new ideas. Concentrate on one thing at a time
and give it your best shot.
There is a well known saying that it is never
late to mend. This proverb provides message of hope. Any time is the
right time to correct your mistakes, resume or begin your work.
Your
subconscious mind is an extremely good problem solver. It does
require relaxation to work at its best though. If you have a
problem, think very deeply about it and then put it out of your
mind. Thinking deeply about it will plant it in your subconscious
mind. Then putting it out of your mind means no more worrying about
it or even thinking about it. You have resolved to relax and let
your subconscious mind take over and find a solution. There is power
in your purpose and in your goals. It is the power that takes you
over obstacles and propels you toward the life you envision.
If someone who
loves you and really cares for you, points out your mistakes and
faults, don’t get angry. Always remember that sweetness causes
sickness, while bitterness comes with cures. Praise is sweetness, an
excess of which causes sickness; while criticism is like a bitter
pill which cures. You can use their remarks to find out the weakness
in yourself which you cannot see. If you can admit your own
weakness, indeed you have the intellectual strength to succeed.
The secret of happy successful living is to do
what needs to be done now, and not to worry about the past or the
future. There is but one moment of our conscious control and that is
the present
